Avid Media Composer Application Error

Hello TechyV people!

I've tried the usual – turning off antivirus software, firewalls, using Admin access – but Avid Media Composer refused to run after reinstallation. What could be the problem? Any ideas and suggestions would be much welcome.

AvidMediaComposer.exe – Application Error

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application.

Avid Media Composer Application Error

There are some reasons why this error occurs. I have some solutions that you may apply to solve this problem.

1. Find and download free registry cleaner then install and run it to clean your registry. Maybe its error from your registry that can be solved by cleaning and repairing your registry.
2. You said it occurs after reinstallation. Maybe you upgraded your OS to the new version, it may be about compatibility issues. Find the exe file of the program where it is installed then right click the program then choose compatibility. Then you can select where you think might be compatible with then click OK.
