Avid media composer error with GPU display driver

Hi experts,

Finally got a chance to view that YouTube video and one free course of Resolve Lite from classondemand.net site. However, I’m a bit concern about this message below. If I upgrade to a more recent driver, MC6 will give me this error? Is this the real problem ?

Avid media composer error with GPU display driver

Hello,

The Avid Media Composer is requiring the driver that came with its installation. If it doesn’t have that one, it won’t be able to run GPU acceleration that would make any media effect more beautiful.

The perfect driver is located in “C:Program FilesAvidUtilitiesnVidia”. The path might differ as you might install the program in other directory.

For more safety, you should install the latest NVIDIA driver. Download NVIDIA driver.
