Avira Internet Security – Update Error

Hello Friends,

In my Avira Internet Security when I make the update command be executed I get a critical error as shown in the attached screenshot.

 

At this point the upgrade process icon halts and the clock continues counting 05, 06, ………….. for hours. It neither stops nor goes ahead. At this moment I can’t close the update menu even. 

 

I use a original version of Avira Internet Security 2012.

 

Any suggestion?

Avira Internet Security – Update Error

Hi Jeff,

Avira is the right choice for Security Software. Like any other Security Software (e.g. Norton Internet Security from Symantec, VirusScan Home Edition 7.0 from McAfee, Zone Alarm Pro 3.0 from ZoneLabs), Avira is the same function as these antivirus softwares.They are designed to filter and screen your internet activities,internet intruders,stop viruses and stop advertisers from learning about surfing habits.

 

The best solution for this problem,Check your updates by going to start menu and typing in check updates and see your installed updates. If Avira 2012 is not installed then activate your windows updates.so this will automatically read and run Avira updates.On the internet, your computer is still getting the same error, you may try this solution, first you need to deactivate Advanced Process Protection, Open the Avira Control Panel >> Go to Extras >> Config>> Click Expert Mode for Activation>> General [Security & Click Advance for deactivation] and Click OK to save your changes. Additionally,Try to uninstall the previous version of Internet Security.
