Are there any recorded issues about astaro that it was intruded or infected by a backdoor virus or viruses? If there was, how did astaro solved the problem?

Hello Karrie,

I have heard some rumors too about the Astaro intrusion by some backdoor viruses and malware, but that is a situation that can affect any application as long as it is vulnerable to attack. I think the problem has been fixed in its latest updates but it is important to confirm from customer support before you install it.

I am not  really sure if there  was already a recorded issues with astaro that is infected by a backdoor virus. You can check the link below for some reference on how to deal with it.

ASTARO: Identify and stop worms, exploits and other attacks.
