Hello Friends, I am using a Toshiba laptop [Satellite L770 series], in which battery bar seems to be low even though when it is fully charged. But I am able to work as usual, means even the battery bar is showing low, it is working without any interruption. Please advice whether its a problem related to the battery or any other issue, please advice on how to overcome this issue, because I am unable to identify the real energy level of the battery.
Battery bar is always showing low
Dear Young Hern,
I have read your problem and I searched about it.
I found the real reason of this problem.
Dear this problem can be occurred due two these two reasons.
The first reason is this, you did not have installed some necessary updates.
As you know that the windows 7 gets updates daily and installs it to keep it safe.
If you have turned the updates off then the windows will not able to make the drivers and other necessary files registered with the windows.
The other problem is this. It seems that you have not installed the AC Adapter driver. So that the windows cannot detect your battery charger plugged in.
Please check both things.
You will solve it very easily.
Thanks

There're a reason for this. Your battery is dead and you have to change the battery. Laptop can work with AC adapter power straight away without battery. That’s what happening to your laptop. It’s working without a battery. Try and check your battery from another laptop. I hope this answer helped your question. Have a nice day.

That’s probably a problem with the operating system’s power options which handles the power monitoring of the machine. This can happen on laptops if the appropriate drivers are not installed. To fix the problem, download the drivers for your machine. Go to Toshiba Support. Here, enter your laptop’s model number or serial number then click “GO”.
You can find it printed on the side or bottom of your laptop. Next, select your correct operating system from the dropdown list to display the correct drivers for your machine. After this, in “Drivers & Updates” tab, download and install all the available drivers. See if this works. If this doesn’t work, try using the System File Checker utility.
Press the Windows key + R to bring up the “Run” dialog then type without quotes “cmd” then hit Enter. In the command prompt window, type without quotes “sfc /scannow” then hit Enter. Insert your Windows setup CD or DVD when you are prompted then continue. Wait until the process completes. When it is finished, close the command prompt then restart the computer. See if this works.
