Best Camera Lenses that can do all Imaging Techniques

I am looking for best camera lenses that is cheaper and could do the job of doing up-close photos, indoor pictures, etc.  

What I mean is, a lens that can be able to do all photo imaging techniques.

I am also planning to add SB-400 to get a nice flash when doing indoor shots.

Any suggestion would be a great help.

Hi Francesca Parker,

Other says, Canon EOS 5D is the best camera for everyday  shoot.  In which even the journalist photospheres can used this and even younger people can own this and can take pictures at the school or even in a  basketball game. This camera can be bought also for a very reasonable price.

I suggest you get the CANON EOS 5D.  It is compatible to any software but I think the most suitable for it is Adobe Photoshop CS2.  It does not matter whatever software you use for it  will not take you long  in processing and editing those photos for the reason that the image captured with your camera will show in a vertical position on your computer screen.
