Best laptop for music mixing and supporting program

I am currently planning a change in my career path. I have always been interested in music and being a DJ professionally. I heard that Mac book Pros are the must have tools for music mixing. Is that true? Also, if I opt for a Mac Book Pro which software is the most appropriate for music mixing?

The most important feature of your laptop is that it must not stop working while in DJing. A long battery time laptop is preferable for this work with the best and updated operating system that can easily handle heavy software for DJing. Best OS for this, is to go with a ‘Mac’. Apple system rarely crash.

Programs like Serato DJ, Traktor Pro 2, Mix Vibes are best to democratize the art of DJ.
