Big problem in Installing Opera 9.64

Hi,

I use Opera 9.64 Internet browser software for browsing because I like Opera 9.64 so much. But recently I faced a problem in installation. When I install Opera 9.64 then Windows shows an error message.

The program features you selected are being installed.

 

 

"Error 1721. There is a problem with this Windows installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor".

 

I tried some times but the same problem occurs. Now I use another Internet browsing software but I need Opera 9.64 installed. So please help me solve this error. Thanks

Big problem in Installing Opera 9.64

Check if you have any previous entry of Opera browser, you can check it by going to add remove programs. 

• Also disable any Antivirus program and firewall and try to reinstall the program.
• If the problems still exists, try to download latest .net framework and also latest Windows installer package from Microsoft website.
• You can download .net framework by visit Microsoft website at the link here.
• Download Windows installer package here.
• This problem can also occur when you have problems with Java. It is also necessary to run different kind of programs. Download the latest Java run time environment by visiting the mentioned link.
