Bios tweak tool in Window xp
My PC has windows 7 64-bit, i7 core processor. Is using a Bios tweak tool safe? I'm trying to overclock to maximize my RAM's bandwidth which is PC6400.

Hi Tatyanamaiaa,
Â
Before doing it I suggest you first check if there is any update availability of bios version you are using.
Also I recommend you to increase your virtual memory to enhance your system’s performance. Â
Yes you can use the BIOS (basic input output system) tweak tool for maximizing RAM’s performance .

Thanks
Hello,
BIOS is a program that is held in your motherboard's chip. It provides all the instruction to your pc about how to start and work. Your BIOS is independent from your motherboard, that means it doesn't effect and matter which windows versions you have, what changes you made and what drivers you installed. So you can always perform a safe BIOS tweak in your windows XP without in your problem. But remember if there is any incorrect settings applied, then you will have a great trouble. It controls the hardware and considered as the middle man of your chip and motherboard. So make sure you do it correctly. And update your BIOS before this tweak.

Hope it helps!
