Black Line in iPhone Screen

I accidentally dropped my iPhone 3G last night. When I checked it, there seems to be no problem. But when I woke up the next day, a black horizontal line has appeared on the screen. I restarted it but it's still the same, the black line is still there. What is this? Is there a way to remove or fix this?

Black Line in iPhone Screen

     If it was dropped to a hard or solid thing, that could be the cause of that black line, I also experienced that to my Ipod classic. Even you are going to reformat it many times it will not solve the problem, because the damage is on the LCD of the ipod not on the internal or what I mean software. So for you to fix that one, you need to buy LCD. You can fix that by your self, but if you are not technical or not technician just give to the others that can do the job. So in short, someone needs to repair it and they will replace your LCD with new LCD.
