Black Screen and White Font with PXE Errors

I am not so highly developed with IT and its sector. Anyway, I’m just searching for a few simple help or ideas. I got a 6-months old HP Bell laptop; it was running very well and reboots just fine. But now, I find the following error with a black screen and white font when I try to use it.

“PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable

PXE-M0F: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM

No bootable device – insert boot disk and press any key.”

I need your help to solve this. Thanks a lot.

Hi Kaycee Corpuz,

Kindly Check the back of your laptop for any kind of damage or check the back of its LCD if found any problem or damage Just bring to a repair shop or just to your provider. And if you haven’t found any damage on it just make a normal reboot and it will be back to normal. But if the reboot didn’t work follow the following steps that I will provide.

1.Another reason for you to get that error is because you have a problem on your hardware its either your Motherboard or a port inside is damage. Just do the first thing I said and it will be fix. (Go to your laptop provider or a professional Computer tech).

2.Another problem that might cause that is a problem with your bios. You haven’t updated it or it had a problem during your use. Just download it to their support site and it will be fix.

Friendly reminder: Always make a backup of everything important in your laptop just in case you will have another problem.
