I used a BlackBerry Curve 8530 for checking my work e-mail. I am now employed in a different company and my work e-mail is now changed to POP. In my previous job, all of my e-mails were synched automatically since I was on an Exchange Server, but now I am having a hard time syncing my inbox using Outlook. I’m thinking that “redirector” would be the solution to this problem. Is there anything you can suggest on how to sync my inbox/sent items in Outlook with my BlackBerry?

Blackberry Curve 8530 Syncing with Outlook
Since you are using a Blackberry Curve 8530, it is easy to sync your inbox/sent item in Outlook. You just need to set it up manually.
These steps might be helpful: First you need to click the Menu button from the homescreen of your phone, scroll and look up for SETTINGS. Click on the settings and scroll again to look up for "MANAGE INTERNET E-MAIL".
Click it and there you'll see the "EMAIL ACCOUNT OPTIONS". Once you select the "EMAIL ACCOUNT OPTIONS" choose "ADD AN E-MAIL ACCOUNT".
Type in your E-mail address and Password in the spaces provided and click NEXT to choose your specific account type. Once your done, scroll to "OUTLOOK WEB ACCESS URL" field and fill-in the address of your account in Outlook. You also fill in the name of your Outlook Mailbox in the "ACCOUNT NAME" field. Your account name is sometimes different from your address or could be your username.
If you want to have a SSL security, simply click the "SSL" checkbox and click "NEXT". Just wait for the confirmation screen to appear. You just select "OK" for the sync process to begin and patiently wait as your precious phone syncs.
Press the "Back" button to return to the home screen and scroll to the new icon that represents your e-mail account to confirm setup and voila! your BB is already synched to your Outlook.
