BlackBerry Curve Insight Install Error

Dear techyV,

I have a new BlackBerry Curve and want to install a third party application. I was told that I can download the software over the air (OTA) but I don’t want OTA as I got the BlackBerry Desktop Software when buying.

Error

No additional applications designed for your device were found.

                                 OK

How do I solve this problem?

BlackBerry Curve Insight Install Error

Hi friend,

Installing a third party application for blackberry sometimes does not work out properly. So you need to be very careful about that third party application for blackberry and its versions. First detect version of software that you are installing. You can detect it by going its desktop manager properties.

In here go general tab and find version information under blackberry desktop manager. May be your version is 4.2. Now find update of that software. The latest version of that software is 4.3 which is available for now. Install this version. It works better than previous one.
