Blackberry not showing my pictures and music properly

Hi everyone! I am a blackberry user and recently my Blackberry is acting up. I just noticed that it started creating some shortcuts links on all my music files and pictures. As a result I can't even read the information of my music and pictures. How can I make sure that this stops happening? Please help! Thanks!

Follow any of the steps below to repair your music and pictures:

 

  1. Repair your memory on phone and memory card
  • On the home screen of your Blackberry, go to Options
  • Go to Memory
  • Press the Menu button
  • Click on the Repair option
  • Complete the instructions on the screen for you model Blackberry

 

  1. Check if the files are not in hidden mode
  • Click here to download a file called AutorunExterminator on your PC
  • Extract the file and double click on AutorunExterminator
  • Connect your phone to the PC via USB cable
  • Click on Start>Run on your PC and type cmd in the box that opens up
  • (Assuming that your memory card as the letter “G”) Type the following in the command prompt attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:*.* (don’t forget to change the G with the letter of your memory card) and press Enter
  • Check for the files in your memory card
  1. Go to your Media folder on your Blackberry, press the Menu button.  Click on “Explore” and then “Explore” – “Show hidden”.  Then go to where your files are stored and try and open a picture or music.
