I was just curious about a big company like Blizzard was easily attacked by the intruders. Is it true? Because I am planning to buy a Diablo 3 game.

Blizzard’s Server was Attacked by Intruders

Dear User,

The Blizzard, the very popular company that published most popular games such as World of Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo was encoded illegally and some information from the servers had been stolen.

These intruders got some information about email addresses for global Battle.net users who is outside of china.

They presumably gained access to the personal security question. And authentication related information.

However it is perfectly safe to use any of the games provided by them, but make sure when you are providing your details, not to include personal email addresses and similar passwords.
