Block A Device From Accessing Wifi?

I have roommates that are connecting to my Wifi and slowing down my speed. Is there a way to block them from being able to connect to my Wifi. I need to do this without them knowing I am the one blocking them. Or is there a way to slow down their connection so they will not want to use it?

Block A Device From Accessing Wifi?

The best way is to set up a password for your WiFi network.

It's quite easy to stop them using internet for your device, you just have to open your router’s admin dashboard and then set the wireless security mode to WPA, WPA2 or WEP.

 

You can also discourage them by changing your wireless network name like c:virus.exe, Network Service Unavailable.

To change the name of the wireless network you just have to log in to your router’s admin console and rename the network under Basic Wireless setting.
