Block Link on Blog Comments

I run a blog, and I would like to block links on the body of the comment.

Is that possible?

I just want my blog to be spam and ad free.

Block Link on Blog Comments

Hello Tarah,

In some blogging sites, they do not allow the users to post URL links and email addresses to prevent spam. The spammers are usually targeting the comment boxes of your sites.

To make it more efficient to manage your comments, blogging sites are providing comments tab for you to contact them.

You can maneuver published comments, comments that have been a flag as a spam and comments awaiting moderation. Blogger now filter comments that are likely spam comments to a Spam Inbox, much like the spam folder in your email.

All comments that leave on your blog will reviewed by website’s spam detector. All comments that are recognize, as spam will be send to your spam inbox.

Enhancing your site’s ability in spam detecting by regularly checking your Spam inbox will improve your site’s stability and spam-free.
