Hi there Michael W Rayner
There are several reasons for cause of this problem
Ø Public Folder Tree missing
Ø MAPI Function is disabled
Ø Cached Exchange Mode
Ø Blocked by Exchange 2007
To solve this problem follow these steps
Method 1 to create Public Folder Tree
Step 1 – Go to Start > All Programs > Microsoft Exchange Server > Exchange Management Console
Step 2 – Expand Sever Configuration > then select mailbox
Step 3 – Right click the storage mode which needed to modify > Click New Public Folder
Step 4 – Create it by using New public Folder Database Wizard
Method 2 MAPI Function
Step 1 – Go to Start > All Programs >Microsoft Exchange Server > Exchange Management Shell
Step 2 – Type “Get-CasMailbox MailboxName | FL mapienabled” and hit enter
Note If the reply comes as false, you need to enable MAPI Function because it’s disabled
Step 3 (for enabling) – Go to Start > All Programs >Microsoft Exchange Server > Exchange Management Shell
Step 4 – Type “Set-CasMailbox MailboxName -mapienabled:$true” and hit enter
Method 3 to enable encryption
Step 1 – Go to start > Run > Type Control and hit enter
Step 2 – Open Mail > Click Show Profile
Step 3 – Click E-Mail Accounts > Select View or Change Existing E-mail Accounts > Click next
Step 4 – Select Exchange account > Click Change
Step 5 – Click More setting > Security tab
Step 6 – Select Encrypt data between Microsoft Office Outlook and Microsoft Exchange Server
Step 7 – Click Ok and finish
Follow these method so you will be able to solve your problem
