Good day techyv.

There was this blue screen that would suddenly appear eventhough I did not press anything.

What would be the cause to this and how will I repair this?

Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The only problem I have is that I don’t know what it’s written in that blue screen, because to tell you the truth it could be anything from software problem to a hardware problem. It is possible that you have some viruses on your computer, and you can clean your computer with a good antivirus like Kaspersky, and if this doesn’t fix your problem, it’s probably a Windows problem, or Hardware problem. Hardware problems that could be are faulty RAM or faulty HDD. That is my idea, if it’s a hardware problem I suggest that you pay a visit to your local hardware service.

The dreaded blue screen again. You normally see that when a problem on the system is encountered sometimes due to compatibility. It usually appears after installing a program or a driver for a newly installed hardware. Whenever you encounter this blue screen error, the first thing you should do is to remember the last thing you did before it happened.

If you install a program before it happened, you need to uninstall that program to restore the system back to normal. If you added a new hardware on your computer and you installed its driver, uninstall the driver and see what happens. If you can still boot to desktop, restart your computer then uninstall the last application or driver you installed.

Once uninstalled, restart your computer and see if it works. If booting to desktop is not possible, uninstall the program or driver in Safe mode. To do this, restart your computer normally then press F8 before the Windows logo appears. In the “Advanced Options Menu”, select “Safe Mode” then press Enter twice to boot to Safe mode.

On the other hand, if you did not do anything before the error happened, try shutting down your computer for about 10 to 15 seconds and then turn it back on. See if the error comes back.
