What is the radius for the bluetooth chat for nokia and how does it work? does one have to invoke a request to know people around on bluetooth?

Hi Artman,

Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short distances. Typically, mobiles phones uses Class 2 power range, which is 2.5 mw. Maximum range ("visibly") is about 10 meters in open field. In real life situations, Bluetooth covers about 3 to 5 meters of distance.

Regarding sending and receiving requests, other device will act as client. For it to work, in "BT Chat" select Options -> Start Chat. Program interface should look like this after successful scan.
