Hi,

I experienced the following error message using Boot Camp Assistant in Leopard (OS X 10.5) or Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) trying to download Windows drivers. Can I fix it without having any trouble? What is the main cause of this error? Help me with a solution.

Thanks.

Hi Loren,
To resolve this error, you will need to install drivers from your original Mac OS X installation CD.
Boot Camp Assistant will not work for downloading drivers.
1) Quit 'Boot Camp Assistant' and run it again.
2) When you get to the 'Select Tasks' stage, uncheck the first Check Box.
3) Continue with the set up wizard and your error will be resolved.
