If the problem always starts whenever you use VPN, make sure your VPN client is not blocked in the Windows Firewall. Try adding your VPN client to the exceptions list in the Windows Firewall. Click “Start”, “Control Panel”, “Security Center” then “Windows Firewall”. In “Windows Firewall” window, go to “Exceptions” tab then click “Add Program”.

In “Add a Program” dialog, scroll down and select your VPN client then click “OK”. If your VPN client is not on the list, click “Browse” then navigate to the location of the installation folder of your VPN client. Select the VPN EXE file, click “Open” then “OK” all throughout. Try your VPN again after this then see if it works.
