CA Internet Security installation problem

I was told that there is a free security program available for installation in my computer. It is the Computer Associates Security program.

I tried to install this program but it asked me for my credit card number although it was mentioned on the website it is free. It also asked me for a registration key.

Do you have any other free security programs that I can install?

Maybe you are asking about CA Technologies’ software. They are doing Antivirus, Anti Spyware, Internet security etc. Your question is not clear to what kind of security software you are asking for. Basically, we understand that security software means Anti-Virus.

CA Internet Security installation problem

There are lots of programs out there that can give your computer the security it needs whenever it goes online or offline. But if you are looking for free software, I don’t think there is such. Creating these programs require a high level of technology and with this technology, require funds, growth funds. That’s why they can’t be offered as free products.

But, for their product to be liked by customers, they have demo programs which are absolutely free to download. These demo programs have a limited number of days to use but the effectiveness is just like the licensed version. After the specified number of days have been exhausted, it will stop working and asks you to buy it or upgrade and needs a license key to function again. This is how demo programs work.
