Camtasia studio could not playback audio shows error 0x8889000f

Hello tech professionals,

When I compile a video in Camtasia, I ended up with this error message. Video is read from the timeline, why not the audio? Anything I am doing wrong? As in the error message, I saved the project and reopened again but no luck. I did like this for many times, but no improvement. Terribly needed help from professionals. Thanks.

Camtasia studio could not playback audio shows error 0x8889000f

Hi Dominic,
The error is because the driver is not saved in the proper location.
To resolve this error follow the steps mentioned below:
1) Click 'Start', in the search box type 'dxdiag'
2) Click 'OK', click 'Yes' to the message for searching drivers in the software
3) Click 'Save all information' to save the text file to attach to the reply message
4) Restart the software after the settings are changed
