Can any help me, how to open bin in audacity editor ?

Hi Experts,

I have recently started using Audacity. Can any one help me how to open bin in audacity. I also want to know whether it can only be used in Windows or is also usable in other Operating Systems.

Hi Alicia,  

 

Audacity is a good program to manipulate audio files, apply filters, handle channels, etc. It is open source and is available on Windows,Linux and MAC OS.

 

To open the bin file, if it is a valid audio file, you can open it in Files > Import …  

If it is a file that Audacity can handle, start charging. If you can not open it, try the option Files > Import > Raw  

If you do not get what you want, the other option is try convert the file to one of the formats that Audacity can handle (mp3, ogg, aiff, aul, …)
