I’m currently working on an assignment regarding meteorology, does anybody knows about the best weather websites to gather data? Any kind of help would be appreciated.

For me it depends on what country or where country you are. Me, I am living in the Philippines so I go for site that weather forecast is about Philippines, and I found that it is good idea that you need to consider where you are when looking for sites weather forecast. But if you are looking for sites that are very particular in weather abroad I recommend you weather.com, weather.gov, and the best site that I always use for weather forecast is the https://weatherspark.com/. You will be amaze in their graphic presentation of weather forecasting, you will also see weather forecasting in the next days so that you can plan for future. .

it is a very good question to know. I think I am giving you the best result. I don't know which countries weather do you want to know? But for your solution I can give a site. Please go to weatherbase.com and you will find country name to browse. You can find any countries weather from here. Just browse the country and get your information.
