Can anyone help to integrate Excel into SDK

Dear Experts,

I am working on integrating MS Excel into SDK but have no success. For you information I should tell that I have Office 2007 and SDK version 3.0. Can anyone tell how to integrate excel into sdk?

Hi Bernard Fleck,

 

This can be done by using Open XML format tool that would be a helping tool to better integrate Excel into SDK that work well in support of Microsoft.NET framework application programming interfaces. Secondly it can be carried out by using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 that enables to integrate Excel into SDK.

Hello,

In order for you to integrate Excel 2007 with SDK, you should use the Open XML Format tool.   This tool runs by using Microsoft .NET Framework application programming interfaces (API).  In fact, when using Open XML Format SDK, you are not required to have any Microsoft Office application open.  For further instructions, you can read Mike Gledhill article who explained in details how to export DataSet into Excel 2007 file.

Another way of doing this task would be to have Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 installed.  Diego Oppenhiemer, explained in his article: “Integrating Excel (Services) and PowerPoint with the Microsoft SDK for Open XML Formats” how Open XML Format helps you to work with office documents easily.
