Can Anyone Tell Me What Are 0x80070002 Errors?

A) This 0x80070002 error is caused when there is some problem in updating windows. To fix it, you need to follow these steps:-

1. Click on Start menu> control panel.
2. Then find the update & Security and then run the troubleshooter.

It will scan your computer for errors and will try to fix it. And if it is successful, it will solve your error.

B) To fix this 0x80070002 error, you will need to follow these steps:

1. Open the command prompt as administrator and then type these commands one at a time and press the enter key after typing each command to execute it:

net stop wuauserv
net stop cryptSvc
net stop bits
net stop msiserver
Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old
net start wuauserv
net start cryptSvc
net start bits
net start msiserver

1. Now after completion of typing these commands in the command prompt. Close it, and the error will be gone.
