Can BCD fix Windows XP GUI?

Hi guys.  I need some help here.  I think my boot loader got corrupted.  I power up my PC and I get an error message "The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.".  Can BCD fix Windows XP GUI?

Can BCD fix Windows XP GUI?

Hello,

I believe that error is as a result of a new hardware or software installed on your PC, you can do the following to overcome it.

• Its better you start with the basics, unplug most of the hardware and re-boot your system.
• you can also use the Bcdedit.exe tool to re-build your BCD manually.
• you can also  do a startup repair or boot your system in safe mode, this will fix most of the errors on your system.
