MY Mac has a VMware that runs on Snow Leopard. It connects excellently with Linux utilities such as bteq and tpt after installation of a 1 terabytes TD 13 Express. Is it possible to enable external clients to access the VMware through an IP? Would this be achieved by the change of VMware settings?

Yes it is possible to enable external clients to access the VMware through an IP.

Connection Server through Security Server cannot connect external users. Login interface fails to load with the error, "page could not be found". External users that will try to connect to the CS (Connection Server) will see error through Security Server. Issue may occur if a network switch in between Security Server, the connection Server drops socket on the Security Server side that keeps them open Connection Server side. In resolving the issue, configure a connection timeout that forces half open sockets to timeout.
In configuring a connection timeout, Navigate to the C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware View\Server\Broker\conf directory on the connection Server then open the server.xml, change the line and reboot the connection server.
