Can I open cacti virtual image in the vmware software?

Hi

I used cacti virtual image to run multiple operating systems in my desktop PC. So I need to know that how can we open the cacti virtual images in VMware software. Is it possible?

Hi Kenneth,

 

Running a virtual machine in a virtual machine won't work. You may sometimes get past the BIOS or loading of kernels, depending on the virtual machine that you are using, and the virtual machine will freeze, or you don't get to start it up at all.

 

I have done that using Virtual Box and VMware, running Virtual Box in Virtual Box, VMware in VMware, Virtual Box in VMware and vice-versa.
