Can I remove xml swf link?

Hi there Techyv, I have to remove xml swf link. Is it possible? I can’t modify it, do I need to use software for this. Please would someone help me with this? I will appreciate it so much. Thanks guys in advance.

Can I remove xml swf link?

Hi Shirlyn,

I believe by saying “remove link from XML SWF file” you meant removing hyperlinks from the SWF file, which in one sense is the FLA source file.

In order to remove the hyperlink from the FLA file (because you cannot directly delete it from the SWF file since it becomes permanent) do the following:

1. Open the FLA source file.

2. Edit wherever necessary to remove the hyperlink.

3. Finally export again to the SWF file.

However, if you have PHP/HTML at your disposal the whole thing above is not possible.
