Can I use Xp media center app for android without wifi?

I have a Samsung S3 smartphone with Ice Cream Sandwich version.  I'm planning to install the xp media center app for android so I can access my media files(mainly large divx files) in my home pc when I need them when I'm at work.  Will I have to update my android version?  Will the Xp media center app for android work without wifi? My office does not have a wireless router so I'd probably have to use my 3G signal.

Hi User,

Yes, you can use xp media center app for android for accessing media files, but 3g signal service is very costly, time consuming and data wastage for large files (divx files). if you afford this much budget than you can use  xp media center app.

Wi-Fi / 3G are the way for internet connectivity. so you can use any one.

There is no need to upgrade your android Ice Cream Sandwich version os.
