Hi Elyssaguadalupe,
You can download RealTemp from their official site, It is free: https://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/
With this program you can monitor Intel Single Core , Intel Dual Core, Intel Quad Core, and Intel Core i7 series of processors. Yes, this program can read the temperature of your CPU and GPU.
Example on the picture:
Real Temp is one of the many programs available in the web designed to monitor the temperature of Intel processors with single Core, Dual Core, Quad Core, as well as Core i7. Just like other temperature monitoring programs, this one doesn’t support Pentium 4 processors even if it also has a single core.
Real Temp is capable of reading temperature information from all Intel Core-based processors. It can also adjust the program for each core of the processor. It works on Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
Each core of the Intel processor uses DTS or Digital Thermal Sensor that reports temperature relative to TJMax. TJMax is the safe maximum operating temperature of the processor’s core. As you use your computer the processor heats up and its distance to TJMax decreases. If it reaches zero the processor will begin to thermal throttle or in other words will slow down and will affect the processing performance of your machine. Maximizing the distance to TJMax is important for your computer to run at full speed.
