Can’t get update from Windows 7
Have you tried to connect to other websites or tried using the internet and it was connected? If so, check your firewall setting because the settings could have changed and is blocking updates. You can also check for updates on Windows 7 in the Windows website. Choose the updates that you usually install in your PC and install it manually by following the step-by-step installation from the website. You can also ask for assistance in the Windows website. They have the Fix it For Me option and you can also troubleshoot your computer while logged in to the net to see the problem regarding the automatic updates.

First of all, you have to check if your internet connection is OK, and working properly. Then if it is working make sure your dns address is also OK. If it's not OK then fix it. After that if the update procedure is still not working, check your antivirus firewall system. Often some antivirus blocks this type of process like changing OS files or update them. If the firewall of antivirus is turned on and causing the trouble then turn it off or authorize the update process. If it's not or you don't have an antivirus software then check if your windows built in firewall is causing the problem. If all these are fine and not causing the problem then try to contact with Microsoft. Your OS is licensed so they will fix any problem. Thanks.
