Can Vb6 download pictures from URL?

Hi people.  I was wondering if Visual Basic 6 can download pictures from a given URL then save it to a specific folder on my desktop?  I need help in VB6 download pictures.  I have Windows XP 64 bit and Internet Explorer 7.  Thanks.

Can Vb6 download pictures from URL?

Hello there Caroline,

I can't really figure what you want to achieve but if you are programming vb6 to download pictures I hope this tutorial and sites would help you figure out what you want. 

http://www.vb-helper.com/howto_grab_web_images.html. This link provides a tutorial on downloading pictures in vb6 though there is a weak spot with this code.
