We all know that Microsoft develops of its new Operating System foe desktops and recently it has released a new build of Windows 10 for the Windows Insider program members. I found that the best among the new features in the latest build of Windows 10 is the ability to remove or hide the Search and Task View icons from the taskbar.
Can we hide Task View and Search icons in Windows10 build 9879?
Windows 10 is not actually Windows 10. I mean, the new Microsoft Windows operating system is called Windows 10 but it is not its original name. It is originally Windows 9 which obviously follows Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 but Microsoft announced that the new Windows 9 will, in fact, be called Windows 10.
Its release is planned around mid-next year, 2015. If you’ve been following the traces of Windows 9 since it was announced, they can’t confirm according to rumor if Windows 9 will end up being free. With Windows 10, the task switching on the left will no longer work. The most obvious change in Windows 10 is the new Start menu.
It looks similar to the old Start menu. It carries several features from the Windows 8.1 Start screen like the live tiles and resizable. Another feature that entered the 21st century is the command prompt. Unlike before, with Windows 10 the new command prompt will now have keyboard shortcuts. This will allow you to paste your commands.
This is useful for users like me who can’t live without the command prompt.
