Hey, I was wondering if anyone could solve my issue regarding Windows Update error 800f020b. Can anyone tell me a way to fix this problem regarding my update?

The windows update error 800f020b shows that the “Device instance does not exist.” This suggests that this optional device driver update does not apply to your system. I would recommend that given the error code that you hide this update.

Should you need to update the device driver, you can visit your computer manufacturer’s website for drivers specific to your system? Or you can visit the device manufacturer’s website as they also have drivers available for download. To hide an update in Windows Update, click Start, click on All Programs, and then click Windows Update.

Click View Update located under the Install Update button, then find the update you want to hide. Right-click on that update and select Hide update. Now, go back to the main Windows Update page and select Check for updates. I should not display the update in question.
