HELLO !
I have set up the account to accept only calls from accounts in the account list.
When called, Skype automatically answers and starts the video.
For my usage this is ok, but I also want to be able to grant my parents access.
Here's the issue, the microphone is on by default because I want to hear them.
The thing is that I don't want to have the microphone on when the parents phone in, since I don't hear the incoming call and they can hear me without me knowing it. I don't expect that they'll phone in without me knowing, but it's the idea that they can . My question, can you remote control with Skype that allow me to turn on/off the microphone or other settings ?
Can you remote control with Skype ?
Hello,
I will always recommend you to install the latest version of the software. You should turn off the microphone by default for calls from parents. You can use the program for remote desktop controlling from here: http://www.uvnc.com/downloads.html Thus, you will be able to activate microphone each time when you are connecting yourselves. Thanks.

You should shut off the microphone by default for calls from the parents. Then you should use a program for remote desktop sharing or controlling. Simply download this
software and install UVNC.

BYÂ using this you can able to activate the microphone every time when you want to connect. Â The latest version of the software use minimize any future problem.
