Can Zonealarm removal tool remove all data of previous antivirus?

I'm thinking of uninstalling my Avast antivirus then install the ZoneAlarm antivirus.  Can the ZoneAlarm removal tool remove all data and components of the previous antivirus?  I'm on Windows 7 64 bit.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Can Zonealarm removal tool remove all data of previous antivirus?

Hi Harvey,

Unfortunately, an anti-virus software cannot remove a program for you. It can only scan and remove malicious files but never to remove a software just to uninstall it. Should you wish to try a different program, you really have to remove the software via the control panel. The uninstall wizard should remove everything related to the program that you just removed so you need not to worry. Just be sure to restart your machine after removing a program and everything should be okay.
