Hello friends,

And also when I try to create a new folder testAres, it failed to create one with an error. How do I create a folder? Friends help to solve this problem. Thanks.

In certain applications, creating a folder sometimes create a problem associated to the folder’s label. This is because sometimes the application forbids the use of certain characters for use on either filename or folder naming. This is normal and should be expected as always. In your case, since you cannot create a folder with special characters as the label, just name it as simple as possible using plain English letters.

Sometimes using non-English characters like the ones that are not included in the standard UTF-8 format produces errors. Also, when creating a folder or folders in Ares, do it one at a time and not all at the same time like when creating a main folder and a subfolder. If you will be creating a folder with a subfolder inside it, do it one step at a time.

Create first the main folder. After that, when that folder is already visible, create the subfolder inside it. Additionally, here are the characters that are forbidden to be used in Ares:

  • >
  • <
  • |
  • /
  • ?
  • !
  • @
  • #
  • %
  • ^
