Cannot extract files error with LG SelfExtractor

Hi there.

I have a Windows 7. I had my Nitro P930 in download mode when I tried running an executable file, which is LG SelfExtractor, and I received this error message telling me that I cannot extract the files. Has anyone experienced this? Or maybe I just got myself a corrupted download?

Cannot extract files error with LG SelfExtractor

Hi Vernon,

 

I would like you to know that executable files are cannot be extracted. To be able to run your application for trying to install it just double click the icon or the setup you don't have to extract it. If you downloaded this file as a zip file or compressed file that is the only time you will extract that. Your file is not corrupted it just that you got the wrong way to run it.
