Hello,
Recently, I downloaded and installed Outlook 2013 on my Windows 8 Operating System but I received the following error message when I try to launch this program. I have tried to reinstall the application but no changes were appeared. How can I avoid this problem? Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
What happened:
WinZipAddin.Outlook.AdminModule error: the add-in has fired ab exception.
Where presumably this happened:
An error occurred in the code of Add-in Express .Net (MS Office) library. See ‘Details’ section to get more detailed information about the error.
Cannot launch Outlook 2013 on Windows 8
Resolution 1:
You will need to check on Winzip's website for new patches, download them and install them. They should fix that issue.
Resolution 2:
If you do not get latest patches to download on winzip's website, you can uninstall it and then install WinRar which is an alternative that works very well.

Tyler

The WinZip add-on for Outlook is making this issue. To solve this,
1. Disable the add-on. Go to Tools >> Trust Center.
2. Select “COM Add-ins” in the “Manage” section and press “Go”.
3. There, remove the add-on called “WinZipAddin.Outlook.AdminModule”.
Restart your Outlook.
Also, this is definitely the problem of WinZip installed on your PC. Update to the latest one.
