Cannot log on to regular account using Outlook 2007 due to Microsoft Exchange. Everytime I open MS Outlook 2007, MS Exchange wants to log on. I get the error saying that MS Exchange is unavailable and that Outlook can’t log on, saying that I need to verify if I am connected to the network.Â
I am running on Vista and my default mail is Gmail. How do I prevent this behavior and delete MS Exchange?Â
I tried to delete Exchange in my accounts but the system prevents me from doing so, saying that the configuration info is being copied.Â
Please help me.Â

Hallo Arvin.
Have you tried uninstalling the ms exchange from the control panel? If not, then try doing so. You could also try removing it by deleting directly from the program files. Just look for the folder with the exchange program on your primary hard drive in the program files folder and delete it permanently.
You should also run the disk clean up utility to remove any exchange files that might cease being removed during the un-installation so as to remove them completely. I hope you know how to find disk clean up on vista.
Hope this helps.
