Cannot talk to klauncher. Not connected to D-BUS server

Hello,

When I try to make on-the-fly Samba Shares with Konqueror, this error message appears and it says that the server cannot be connected. Please find below screenshot for your reference.

Could anyone explain why this error message appears please and any suggestions to solve the error? Thank you very much.

Error – Konqueror

Could not start process. Cannot talk to klauncher. Not connected to D-BUS server.

Hi there Brian L McSwain,

This is a known issue happening after OpenSUSE upgrade. The problem is in the conflict of KDE and dbus component that is higher than version 1.5.12-4.1.2. With upgrade OpenSUSE install dbus-1 version 1.5.12-4.6.1 and everything stop working.

While waiting for bug to be fixed by KDE, a simple workaround is to downgrading dbus to previously installed version.
