Hi,
I am having problems uninstalling my security software. I tried removing it from control panel, but after I rebooted my computer it’s still there. I am currently using CA Internet Security Suite Plus 2010. I want to remove it because it’s been giving me a lot of problems lately but it seems that I’m unable to do it. Any suggestions on this would be very much appreciated. Thanks
Cannot uninstall CA Internet Security Suite 2011
Since the CA Internet Security Removal Tool is no longer working, and uninstalling from the Control Panel doesn't work also, you can try to remove it from your registry. Reboot to Safe Mode by pressing the F8 key. And then click on Start and Run. Type regedit.exe and then navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and then expand to SOFTWARE and search for CA. Right-click into it and delete it. Go to Add/Remove Programs, click on the CA program and then Uninstall. A confirmation box will appear and ask if you want to completely uninstall CA Internet Suite, click YES or OK and then restart your computer.
You can also use some third-party software to uninstall CA Internet Suite. Try the Perfect Uninstaller. Download and install Perfect Uninstaller and then close all the files, folders or any programs running on your computer. Run the Perfect Uninstaller and then highlight the CA Internet Security Suite from the list and press Uninstall.
