I am not a techie guy, so I need help with this problem.
I am using Win 7 ultimate 32 bit on my laptop, that I recently got from my sister.
I notice that a flag like icon pops up a message that I need update but when I tried to click on the message, I receive this message that the service center can't start.
What will I need to do?Â
Action Center
The Windows Security Center service can't be started.
Thanks in advance.

Cannot update Windows 7 – Error message appear
Hey Gez,
This error message will show up when Security center service is stopped. You should get that started to get rid of this warning message. To start this service:
-
Type Services.msc in the Run command or search box under the Windows Start menu.
-
This will open up the Services Window
-
Select the Security center option and check if that is stopped.
-
If yes, start that and make sure that the it is set to Automatic(Delayed start)
-
If it is already running, stop and then restart and set the mode to Automatic.
