Cannot use acronis raid recover for laptop

I have an Acronis for my computer because I have heard lots of positive things about it. The problem is that, my laptop doesn’t recognize the RAID-O array in my Intel ICH8M-E/ICH9M-E/5 Series SATA RAID Controller. With this, I cannot get my files back with acronis raid recover. Is there anything I should do for my laptop to be able to recognize Acronis as my backup so that I can use it for its purpose?

Hello Avery Brandon, 

 

Hope that my message finds you well. 

 

I think that RAID-O array does not show up, maybe because it hasn't not been partitioned and formatted yet. 

 

If you want to check this you can do the following: 

– Go to My Computer icon then click "right click". 

– Click on "DISK MANAGEMENT" at the LHS. 

– You should see the RAID as one logical drive, If yes then you are able to partition and format.
