Hello Everyone,
I've recently purchased an Apple iMac 24'' and using Mac OS X v10. 5 Leopard. I've a small business Center and all my setup is organized on Mac platform. But in my office I have a File server which is Linux based and I have got a wireless network system.
My problem is I can't access my File server from my iMac.
Is there anyone who can help me to access in my File server from my iMac.
Thanks.

Can’t access in File server from my Apple iMac?
Mac is totally a different platform. So this kind of problem, is very much practical. It is very simple what you need to do.
First you should check if your local area network is ok. After that In the Finder, select Connect to Server. Go menu; it will be the last option.
The connect-to Server dialog appears. Enter your Server address and then connect it .
Very simple work. I think this will help you.

Dear Bappy,
As per your instructions every thing is going on fine but sometimes I'm experiencing that it takes a long time to connect to my File Server.

Hmm, sounds like you haven't yet upgraded your iMac. In this case two things can be done.
-
Your Network is not properly working, I would suggest you first to check your network preferences, if your network is OK
-
You have to upgrade your system right now because, If your system is not up to date sometimes it won't work properly.
I think if you upgrade to the latest versions, your system will be ok.
