Can’t play games with PSP Go

Hello there,

I have been using my PSP Go quite frequently and I'm having fun with it. It worked well until last week. I purchased a few games in the past, and I was running them with no problems encountered. But for reasons I'm not quite sure yet, I am getting an 8010850F error code message which says that, "To use this content, you must activate the system".  This error message won't let me play any game I have stored in my PSP Go. I can run music as well as watch the videos and pictures on it but that's it. I can't do anything else.

I badly need your help. Thanks in advance.

Can’t play games with PSP Go

Hi,

I know how frustrating it is if you get error message when you are supposed to be enjoying your game. I am a gamer myself, and I totally understand how it feels if you have been using your playstation without any issues then suddenly an error message appears. To resolve the error code 8010850F when playing games on PSP Go, you may want to try the following:

1. Go to playstation Network menu
2. Choose account management
3. From there, click on system activation
4. Then activate games
5. Try the game again
